This was a livery created to celebrate JetBlue’s mission of Inspiring Humanity by doing good on the ground and air. All these good causes are the end result of the commitment and dedication of Crewmembers to serve community. Hence it was decided to illustrate them in the same style of other JetBlue Illustrations, and have them be the center of the design.

The idea of depicting Crewmembers working together to create and reveal JetBlue’s true skin– an array of illustrations that symbolize many of the causes that are important to the company– came from the thought of showing the sum of all good actions makes this initiative possible.

When boarding, we wanted Customers to become aware they are entering a special livery, and what better way to do it by placing the JetBlue for Good badge on one of the areas with highest visibility. The badge is composed mainly by the logo and is surrounded by the three pillars–Community, Youth & Education, Environment–which are meaningful areas JetBlue chooses to give back.

The sum of many small good actions lead to bigger causes. This is why Crewmembers are illustrated performing different actions to create, reveal, paint, maintain, clean the livery.

Each side has different symbols organized in a quilt-style manner and convey the different causes that are important to JetBlue. These causes can be classified under the different areas: DNA, Community, Youth & Education, and Environment.

In addition to celebrating Crewmembers’ joint efforts, this livery is unique and will promote public awareness of this incredible initiative, showing JetBlue’s commitment to make a difference.
